Daehan Nupharm Basic Safety and Health Rules
Daehan Nupharm operates basic safety and health rules to be observed by all employees and partners. These rules provide fundamental guidelines for creating a safe work environment and preventing accidents. Our safety begins with mutual consideration and practice.

- 03 Do not enter hazardous areas carelessly.
- 04 Inspect equipment before use.
- 05 Be familiar with and share emergency evacuation routes.
- 06 Evacuate quickly in case of fire.

- 09 Work together with colleagues to build a safe work culture.
- 10 Do not ignore even minor danger signs; actively share them to prevent accidents.

Safety and Health System
Daehan Nupharm Safety and Health Emergency Response System
- To respond promptly to accidents (fires, explosions, chemical leaks, infectious diseases, etc.) that may occur in Daehan Nupharm’s production facilities and research centers, minimizing human and property damage.
- To identify safety and health risks in advance and establish response procedures to ensure employee safety.
Daehan Nupharm’s emergency response system consists of the General Manager, Response Team, and Support Team,
with roles clearly defined for immediate response
depending on the situation.

1. Emergency Response General Manager (Chief of Safety and Health)
- Makes final decisions during emergencies and directs the Response Team.
- Responsible for cooperation, reporting to external agencies (fire department, police, environmental office, etc.).

2. Emergency Response Team (Production HQ, Research Centers, etc.)
- Responds immediately to accidents and performs duties as required by the situation.
- Main members:
- Initial Response Unitt: Implements first measures in case of fire, chemical leaks, or disasters (firefighting, disaster control, evacuation guidance, etc.).
- Rescue and First Aid Unit: Provides first aid to the injured and arranges hospital transfers.
- Environmental Safety Unit: Controls accident sites, removes hazardous materials, and ensures safety.

3. Emergency Support Team (HR & General Affairs Team)
- Provides cooperation and support with external agencies (fire, police, hospitals, etc.).
- Shares accident information with employees and families and provides follow-up support.
- Conducts accident investigation and develops recurrence prevention measures.

- Notify related departments and external agencies via emergency contact networks.

- Implement first measures depending on the type of accident (e.g., Use fire extinguishers in case of fire, isolate and remove in case of chemical spill).
- Provide first aid and hospital transfer for the injured

3. Risk Containment and Damage Minimization
- Control the accident area and prevent additional damage.
- If necessary, halt plant operations and order the evacuation of all employees.

4. Cooperation with External Agencies and Official Reporting
- Work with the relevant agencies (fire, police, environmental office, etc.).
- Prepare and submit an incident report after investigation.

5. Accident Recovery and RecurrencePrevention Measures
- Analyze the accident causes and establish recurrence prevention measures
- Conduct employee training and simulation drills.
